Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics for light‑ to heavy‑duty fleets in a mobile environment.

Lead on-site diagnostics, triage complex repairs, and coordinate with customers to ensure high service levels. DOT compliance and safety are required, with tools and training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related field experience or 5 years’ related field experience.
• DOT/FMCSA and safety compliance knowledge preferred.
• ASE certifications within 18 months of hire are required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Document work performed and parts used on RO via iOS TRAIT app.
