Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our truck fleet in Augusta, GA. This full-time role offers weekly pay, a $35.00 per hour base, and a quarterly $2,000 retention bonus during the first year.

The position includes a company vehicle for mobile service and comprehensive benefits. Ryder provides training to advance your skills, PPE and boot allowance, and opportunities for merit increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred.
• 4+ years in a combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and other fuel components.
• May operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within the assigned region.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and repairs in Salesforce.
