Job summary

Torque by Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Senior-Level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Huntsville, AL. This role offers a competitive hourly wage and a rich benefits package.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain light-duty trucks across sites, with travel to customer yards. The position includes training opportunities, a United States-based schedule, and a strong focus on safety and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Professional diploma preferred.
• Three+ years of combined classroom training and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes and fluid checks.
• Diagnose, repair or replace engine parts, transmissions and fuel components.
• Perform basic diagnostics and hydraulic brake inspections/repairs.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
