Job summary

Ryder is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet in Nashville, TN. The role offers an hourly pay of $37.00 with a quarterly retention bonus and a 40-hour work week, including some weekend premiums.

Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company matching, stock discounts, and paid training. A CDL-A is preferred and mobile service vehicle is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical repair skills and diagnostics experience on heavy/medium duty equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and repairs including AC, electrical systems, and major engine work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and perform preventative maintenance.
• Drive and operate mobile service vehicle as assigned; complete repair orders accurately.
• Interact with customers and drivers to determine issues and provide cost estimates.
