Ryder System, Inc. via Torque by Ryder is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Mobile Diesel Technician to support our heavy‑duty truck fleet in Austin, IN.

The role offers a flexible 40‑hour week with weekend premiums and includes a company vehicle for mobile service, as well as a fuel card and company phone. Employees receive medical/dental/vision after 30 days, 80 hours PTO in year one, 401(k) with company match, and merit pay increases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required for the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair on heavy‑duty trucks.
• Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical problems and perform repairs.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints and communicate solutions.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Ryder policies during all service tasks.
