Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Permanent Full Time Mid-Level Mobile Automotive Technician in Memphis, TN to support our truck fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty vehicles, with a focus on mobile service and customer satisfaction.

Compensation includes up to $32/hour, plus weekly pay and a retention bonus program. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO accrual, 401(k) match, paid training, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or professional diploma preferred.
• Two years or more in a combination of classroom training and work experience.
• State driver's license; CDL A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose, repair or replace engines parts including alternators and radiators.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
