Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead MMIC Design Engineer at the Richardson, TX location. The role focuses on GaN/GaAs MMICs for ground and airborne radars, EW, and space applications, with responsibilities spanning modeling, simulation, packaging, and customer-facing design reviews.

The candidate will lead design teams, perform RF/microwave measurements, coordinate with foundries and suppliers, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring design reviews and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 10+ years MMIC design using GaAs/GaN or MSEE with 8+ years.
• RF design or electromagnetics coursework.
• Knowledge of active device theory fundamentals (FETs/diodes).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering to plan, report, and meet cost/schedule objectives.
• Perform circuit modeling, simulations, and layout within design flow.
• Lead in RF/microwave measurements in the lab and with PNA-X.
• Engage with foundries and packaging suppliers to advance capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and support business development pursuits.
