Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior MMIC Design Engineer in McKinney, TX, to join the Microelectronics Department. The role covers full MMIC development from concept through fabrication, test, and customer interfacing for GaN, GaAs, or CMOS devices.

You will design high-performance RF/MMIC solutions, collaborate with peers to drive process improvements, and document decisions to support rigorous reviews and robust product delivery. A DoD security clearance may be required post-start.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM fields required.
• 5+ years MMIC design or test experience.
• Fluency with GaN/GaAs/CMOS MMICs and RF/microwave tests.

Responsibilities

• Own MMIC development from topology through layout and test.
• Collaborate with MMIC engineers to improve processes and first-pass yield.
• Document design decisions and ensure deliveries meet specifications.
