Job summary

Credit Acceptance seeks a highly experienced Leader of ML and AI Engineering to drive AI-powered solutions across business areas. You will lead a team of MLEs, design scalable AI systems, and partner with engineering to implement state-of-the-art ML/GenAI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with extensive practical ML/DS experience.
• 8+ years designing, building, deploying ML/AI systems at scale.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of data science teams.
• Experience partnering with engineering, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead vision and strategic execution for ML/AI across business areas.
• Mentor MLEs and guide design principles and coding standards.
• Define strategic roadmaps and translate into quarterly plans.
• Build scalable, secure AI/ML systems and pipelines across platforms.
• Drive delivery of ML/GenAI solutions with cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee ML/LLM operations, versioning, automation, monitoring.
