Credit Acceptance Corporation is seeking a Staff AI/ML Solutions Engineer to own AI/ML products across the auto lending ecosystem, from business problem framing through solution delivery. This role works at the intersection of business, product, engineering, and AI/ML, serving as the single point of contact to the business.

You will partner with stakeholders across Business Operations, ML Engineering, Platform Engineering, Data Science, AI Operations, Analytics, and Marketing to define the

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical product management, solution ownership, or business-facing roles (financial services preferred).
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and system design.
• Ability to own a product outcome end to end, from problem framing through launch and post-launch monitoring.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and engaging with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to frame problems, size opportunities, and validate needs and feasibility.
• Own product roadmap and prioritize to deliver business value.
• Define success KPIs and translate requirements into technical specs and delivery plans.
• Manage build-versus-buy decisions and vendor engagements.
• Own lifecycle from problem framing to delivery, adoption, and improvement.
