Job summary

Aimlroles is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own critical ML subsystems in production. This role is 100% remote and demands hands-on work, fast iteration, and deep expertise in AI.

You will build and maintain scalable ML systems, handle data pipelines, and collaborate across research, product, and engineering teams. You will mentor peers, improve production quality, and ensure latency, reliability, and safety targets are met while operating within real production constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping ML systems used by real users.
• AI experience required.
• Experience understanding how modern ML models behave and misbehave in production.
• Experience writing strong, production-quality code and think in systems, not scripts.
• Experience taking ownership, work independently, and push work across the finish line.
• You learn fast, communicate clearly, and improve through iteration.
• Tech Stack: GPU-based training and inference systems, JAX, Python, and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Build core ML systems powering a proactive AI product.
• Own end-to-end data prep, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration.
• Turn research ideas into production-ready systems.
• Debug model failures using real production signals.
• Ship quickly, measure outcomes, and refine.
• Collaborate with research, product, and engineering for real user impact.
• Mentor peers and review ML engineer work.
• Operate under production constraints: latency, cost, reliability, safety.
