Job summary

The Boeing Company’s Phantom Works in Berkeley, MO seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a combined Missions Systems and Software Engineering team in technology development and production transition.

You will mentor technical leads, coordinate with customers and suppliers, manage staffing and resources, drive cross-functional plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while aligning with business goals. This role requires a US Top Secret clearance and is onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Senior level requires 5+ years in project leadership or 3+ years with a Masters/PhD.
• 5+ years of experience in mission systems and software development and integration.
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of Phantom Works mission systems and software for technology development and transition to production.
• Oversee engineering design, integration, and meeting customer requirements on schedule and budget.
• Drive planning and execution across cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Apply performance metrics to identify issues and mitigate risks.
• Manage, develop, and retain technology and mission systems personnel.
• Ensure staffing levels and resource availability to meet program needs.
• Provide updates to PW Leadership Team and relevant stakeholders.
