The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Lead Design and Analysis Engineer to architect and integrate complex mission capabilities across sensors, management, and payload interfaces. You will drive MBSE models, guide verification efforts, and lead cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced Phantom Works environment.

With 14+ years of related experience and a BS in Engineering, you will shape technical direction, manage architecture tradeoffs, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field.
• 14+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-level definition of requirements for system-of-systems mission integration.
• Maintain SysML/MBSE architecture models capturing behavior and interfaces.
• Define end-to-end mission system architectures and data flows.
• Lead integration of onboard and offboard systems and external mission services.
• Develop mission logic for sensor integration, track management, and decision support.
• Guide simulation, test and verification strategies; oversee lab, integration, and field tests.
• Perform system-level analysis of failure modes, robustness, and resilience.
• Drive MBSE trade studies and architecture decisions across the program.
• Produce concise documentation for design decisions and verification results.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs and risks to leadership and partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence integration standards.
• Represent the program in technical reviews and stakeholder engagements.
