Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is hiring a Lead Design and Analysis Engineer for a fast-paced Phantom Works program. You will lead the integration of subsystems across sensors, mission management, communications, networks, and weapons interfaces for complex system-of-systems capabilities.

You will be a senior technical contributor who shapes architecture, performs design reviews, and guides MBSE/ SysML models from requirements through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 14+ years of related experience or equivalent with advanced education.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools and DoD platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level definition and decomposition of requirements for system-of-systems mission integration.
• Shape SysML/MBSE architecture models and ensure traceability across lifecycle.
• Drive end-to-end mission system architectures including data flows and timing budgets.
• Lead integration of onboard and offboard systems with sensors and datalinks.
• Develop mission logic for sensor integration, track management and decision support.
• Guide verification strategy, tests, and lab/field validation activities.
• Perform fault analysis, robustness assessment and resilience planning.
• Conduct trade studies and technical reviews using MBSE methods.
• Produce concise documentation of design decisions and verification results.
• Communicate tradeoffs and risks to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote integration standards.
