Job summary

The Boeing Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer to develop and integrate complex mission systems for a Phantom Works program. You will contribute to cross-functional work, agile development, and MBSE-enabled design across hardware and software domains.

You will evaluate customer requirements, translate them into system designs, and lead a team through integration, testing, and deployment to the customer, with opportunities for leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical) or related fields.
• 9+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in an agile environment and leading engineers on mission systems.

Responsibilities

• Make complex software and hardware design decisions for mission processing capabilities.
• Lead capability integration team (software, hardware, test) to release capabilities to the customer.
• Create and scope mission features decomposed from system requirements to high level software requirements.
• Analyze and translate customer requirements into system, hardware, and software designs.
• Define interfaces to ensure platform architecture interoperability.
• Utilize MBSE for requirements, interfaces and traceability.
• Test and validate system functionality and performance.
• Present design change recommendations to leadership and customer.
