Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems seeks a Software Engineer to support DAF CLOUDworks at Eglin AFB. The role focuses on rapid enablement of application functionality within a secure cloud program, requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders and strong problem-solving skills.

Candidates should have experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment strategies. Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain it is required, with relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01 such as CASP+ or Security+ within 60 days of start date.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (network, storage, Linux/Windows, IT security).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with microservice orchestration, Kubernetes, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with Kubernetes tooling (Kustomize, Helm) and GitOps/CI-CD (GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD).
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Ansible; monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
