Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and scale secure cloud platforms for NASIC workloads. You’ll implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines, enforce security controls, and collaborate with cyber and networking teams to meet DoD requirements.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and cloud services. Growth opportunities exist in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or master’s with 3+ years.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu/Ansible) and Git-based CI/CD.
• Strong Linux experience and core cloud services knowledge (VMs, storage, networking).
• Proficient with Git and distributed version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale secure AWS and Azure landing zones for NASIC workloads.
• Implement IaC and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins or cloud-native options.
• Enforce least-privilege, centralized logging, auditing, and automated backups.
• Collaborate with cyber, networking, and app teams to meet DoD STIG/RMF requirements.
• Mentor engineers and promote DevSecOps best practices.
