Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer to maintain and enhance DAF CLOUDworks for AFRL in Beavercreek, OH.

In this role you will work on cloud engineering, information security, and infrastructure development across multiple teams, providing technical support and ensuring on-call readiness. You will engage with stakeholders, follow Agile processes, and leverage Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms to drive solutions that improve efficiency and security.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI is required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Expertise with IaC, Docker, Kubernetes and microservices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance DAF CLOUDworks capabilities for AIR FORCE RESEARCH LAB (AFRL) and Beavcrk, OH.
• Provide technical support to multiple teams and communicate project statuses and blockers.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams in an Agile LD lifecycle.
• Support 24x7 on-call operations and respond to incidents efficiently.
