Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Cloud Engineer to maintain and enhance DAF CLOUDworks capabilities for AFRL in Rome, NY. You will join a multi-team effort focusing on cloud engineering, information security, and migration work.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, and familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC, and containerization. Collaboration across geographically distributed teams, and 24x7 on-call support, are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with infrastructure components, network, storage, Linux/Windows, and IT security concepts
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance DAF CLOUDworks capabilities for AFRL
• Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to cloud adoption, environment prototyping and data migration
• Support 24x7 on-call as needed
