Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Chandler, AZ to lead modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile and interceptor systems. You will define MS&A plans, guide design decisions, and mentor a team of engineers, interfacing with program leadership and customers. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

The role is 100% on site in Chandler with some remote consideration. Active clearance and extensive MS&A experience are preferred for success in this position.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required
Active SECRET clearance required
STEM degree with relevant years of experience
Experience in missile/interceptor MS&A and defense systems

Responsibilities

Lead development and integration of mission-level and system-level models and simulations.
Direct operations and behavior analysis, mission effectiveness studies, and threat/architecture trade studies.
Define and oversee MS&A task plans, model development, and validation workflows.
Guide architecture trades using data-driven analyses and sensitivity studies.
Mentor engineers and interface with program leadership and customers.
Support technical reviews and proposals with MS&A approaches and results
