Job summary

You will design physics‑based models, craft mission engagement scenarios, and perform quantitative analyses to support requirements and design decisions.

You will work 85% technically and 15% as a homeroom manager on-site in Chandler, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance missile and interceptor

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering; Physics; Applied Mathematics; Computer Science) with 8+ years in modeling & simulation; or Master’s with 6+ years; or Ph.D. with 4+ years.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a section of Systems Modeling Simulation engineers (8-15 personnel).
• Be responsible for hiring, development, training, and retention of section talent.
• Provide leadership, management, feedback, and direction to team members including timesheet approval and performance reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of the section/team including metrics, resource balancing, process adherence, and issue resolution.
• Promote professional development and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Develop and integrate mission‑level and system‑level models, algorithms, and simulations for missiles, interceptors, sensors, threats, and C2 systems.
• Perform trade studies, sensitivity analyses, and DOE to quantify performance and mission utility.
• Document methods and results in reports and present findings to teams.
