Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer for Mission Modeling and Simulation at Level 6. You will lead modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile and interceptor systems, define analysis plans, and serve as a primary technical interface to program leadership. You will collaborate with disciplines, mentor engineers, and support technical reviews.

U.S. citizenship is required; current or prior TS clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required.
Active US Government Secret security clearance.
14+ years of systems engineering, modeling and simulation experience (or 12+ with Master’s, or 10+ with Ph.D.).
Extensive MS&A experience for missile/interceptor or advanced defense systems.
Proven leadership of MS&A efforts and design trades.
MBSE/digital engineering experience and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Lead development and integration of mission- and system-level models, simulations, and analyses for missiles and interceptors.
Direct MS&A tasks, including model development, validation, and analysis workflows.
Guide architecture trades with data-driven recommendations and sensitivity analyses.
Mentor MS&A engineers and provide technical guidance to teams and leadership.
Support technical reviews and proposals, articulating MS&A approaches, risks and mitigations.
