Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 7 Consultant, Mission Modeling Simulation, in Chandler, AZ. You will serve as an enterprise-level technical authority for modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile and interceptor systems.

In this senior role, you will define MS&A strategy, lead cross-program mission engineering and campaign analyses, and provide independent technical assessments to guide portfolio decisions, with on-site work strongly preferred in Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and extensive systems engineering/analysis experience, or higher degrees with more years of experience.
• Recognized expertise in mission-level operations analysis and campaign modeling.
• Experience influencing enterprise-level decisions via MS&A.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise-level MS&A strategy across multiple programs and product lines.
• Lead cross-program mission engineering and campaign-level analyses to inform roadmaps and investments.
• Provide independent technical assessments, risk evaluations, and architecture reviews.
• Represent the organization in customer engagements and senior leadership briefings.
• Drive innovation in MS&A tools, frameworks, and digital engineering techniques.
• Mentor teams and develop succession plans for technical leadership.
• Collaborate with government labs, universities, and industry partners.
