Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 7 Consultant, Mission Modeling Simulation, in Chandler, AZ. The role serves as an enterprise-level technical authority for modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile and interceptor systems.

You will define MS&A strategy, lead cross-program mission and campaign analyses, and provide independent technical assessments guiding portfolio decisions. 100% on-site in Chandler; remote candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 16 years of related experience; or Master’s 14 years; or PhD 12 years.
• Proven mission-level operations analysis and system-of-systems simulation expertise.
• Experience influencing enterprise-level decisions through MS&A.
• Strong experience presenting to senior leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise-level MS&A strategy across programs.
• Lead cross-program mission engineering and campaign analyses.
• Provide independent assessments, red/blue teaming, and risk evaluations.
• Represent MS&A capabilities in customer engagements and gate reviews.
• Drive innovation in MS&A tools, real-time simulation, and digital twin implementations.
• Collaborate with government labs, universities, and industry partners on advanced MS&A.
