Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer: Mission Modeling Simulation – Level 4 to support mission- and system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis for advanced missile and interceptor systems. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to shape architectures, requirements, and concepts of operation, and present analysis-backed recommendations.

This 100% on-site role (remote considered for exceptional cases) requires a U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of systems engineering or MS&A experience; or higher degrees with fewer years.
U.S. Citizenship is required and active Secret clearance.
Experience in mission-level and system-level modeling and simulation for missile/interceptor or IADS programs.
Hands-on experience with MS&A tools like AFSIM, NGTS, Brawler, STK, MATLAB/Simulink.
Strong background in probability, statistics, and DOE applied to weapon system performance.
Experience guiding MS&A plans and reviewing models and analyses.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate mission-level and system-level models, simulations, and analyses for missiles, interceptors, sensors, threats, and C2 systems.
Perform operations analyses, mission effectiveness studies, and assess architecture alternatives for campaigns.
Integrate and use graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
Link mission needs and analysis results to derive system requirements, analyses, metrics, and test strategies.
Develop and present analysis-backed recommendations that influence architecture trades, CONOPS, and TTPs.
