Job summary

RTX is recruiting a Principal Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join the ISMA center’s Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section to build high-fidelity missile simulations and decision-support software used by warfighters.

You will work with engineers to advance analytic approaches, participate in trade studies, and help develop model-based tools powering real-time combat decisions. Candidates must hold a DoD secret clearance or higher.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in at least two of: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development with C/C++/Java; AI/ML; HPC.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced computing environments.
• Lead trade studies assessing weapon system performance across scenarios.
• Apply performance engineering to evaluate improvements, effectiveness, and survivability of systems.
• Collaborate with team members to develop analytic approaches guiding program decisions.
• Develop, validate and test model-based solutions powering real-time combat decision aids.
