Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section, building high-fidelity missile simulations and decision-support systems used by warfighters.

The role requires a DoD Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain it, a STEM degree, and strong experience with MATLAB/Python and C/C++/Java. Occasional travel and a strong team orientation are expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and/or utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
• Contribute to trade studies to assess system performance of weapons against threats in various kill chain scenarios.
• Collaborate in a team environment to develop analytic approaches that inform programmatic decisions.
• Participate in model-based solutions to power decision support systems and in validation/testing of software components.
