Job summary

GovSG is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to join our Huntsville, AL team. You will support analysis of Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), developing tools in MATLAB and Python and interpreting complex simulations for leadership.

You will collaborate with engineers and government stakeholders, deliver technical briefings, and contribute to future interceptor analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Active security clearance (SECRET or above).
• Demonstrated experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++ for modeling and analysis.
• Ability to develop analytical tools and communicate findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for modeling and assessment of interceptor performance.
• Create M&S environments to evaluate engagement scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analyses for IDT time-sensitive tasks.
• Analyze simulation results and provide actionable engineering recommendations.
• Deliver technical briefings to engineering teams and government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address analysis needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
