Job summary

ACQCENTRIC INC in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to support Ground-based Missile Defense programs. You will develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for medium-fidelity modeling and performance assessments of GBI and NGI, and analyze various engagement scenarios.

You will also conduct quick-response analyses for IDT and interpret simulation results to inform engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance (SECRET or above) is required.
• 7+ years relevant experience in STEM or related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting MDA GMD Programs.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, including model development, data analysis, and visualization.
• Proficiency in Python, including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Experience evaluating missile defense engagement performance, interceptor effectiveness, or system operational capability.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, numerical methods, optimization techniques, and simulation-based performance assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting technical analyses to government customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for modeling, simulation, and performance assessments of GBI and NGI.
• Develop, execute, and analyze M&S environments to evaluate interceptor performance across engagement scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analysis for the IDT, including kinematic battlespace assessments.
• Conduct interceptor performance analyses to identify trends, limitations, and actionable recommendations.
• Support development of future interceptor analysis capabilities and tools.
• Interpret simulation outputs and communicate findings to engineering teams and leadership.
• Deliver technical briefings outlining methodologies, assumptions, results, and conclusions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address evolving analysis needs.
