Job summary

APEX TK in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Analysis Engineer to join our team. You will support analysis of Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems, perform mission and system performance analyses, and communicate findings to engineering, leadership, and government stakeholders.

The role requires MATLAB and Python expertise, with C++ as a plus, and the ability to develop analytical tools, interpret simulations, and deliver technical briefings on complex scenarios

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Active security clearance SECRET or above.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Python.
• Experience with MDA GMD programs.
• Strong statistics, numerical methods, optimization, and simulation-based assessment.
• Experience translating analyses into actionable recommendations and presenting to government customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for GBI/NGI modeling and assessment.
• Develop, execute, and analyze M&S environments for interceptor performance across scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analysis for time-sensitive assessments.
• Conduct interceptor performance analyses to identify trends and limitations.
• Support development of future interceptor analysis capabilities and tools.
• Analyze simulation results and communicate conclusions to engineering teams and leadership.
• Deliver technical briefings on methodologies, results, and recommendations.
