Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Performance Analysis Engineer to join the Huntsville, AL team. You will develop MATLAB, Python, and C++ tools to support medium-fidelity modeling, simulation, and performance assessments of ground-based interceptor systems. Your work will inform engineering teams and government stakeholders.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct interceptor analyses, and deliver technical briefings with clear conclusions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in performance analysis or similar.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and C++ for tool development.
• Strong statistical, numerical methods, and simulation-based assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MATLAB, Python, and C++ analysis tools for M&S of GBI and NGI.
• Create, run, and analyze modeling and simulation environments across engagement scenarios.
• Perform quick-response analyses for time-sensitive assessments and support decision making.
• Deliver technical briefings to engineers, leadership, and government stakeholders.
