Job summary
The Sr. Sales Manager for Mining at mtu Power Systems drives North American mining sales, owning the full cycle from opportunity to contract with distributors and major customers.
Based in Novi, MI or working from home in the US, you will build executive relationships, forecast growth, and deliver revenue while traveling up to 50% to support opportunities. Ideal candidates bring strong value-selling skills, deep mining industry knowledge, and proven CRM discipline.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical sales or service management with Associate's.
- 5+ years with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business.
- 3+ years with Master's degree in Engineering/Business.
- JD/PhD in Engineering/Business or 9+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. Citizen or work-authorized eligibility in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with distributors in North America.
- Build senior customer relationships and secure sales and service contracts.
- Manage accounts with a full commercial perspective and provide guidance on policy decisions.
- Monitor market trends, forecast, and report insights to leadership.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
