Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves developing mechanical models and documentation for large and small-scale projects in the mining sector. Qualifications

• Experience with design of Mining facilities and infrastructure is a plus.
• Understand and adhere to all applicable drafting standards and verify completeness of design drawings.
• Ability to perform field walks, which may include climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete design and documentation package for mechanical deliverables.
• Produce deliverables required for project needs as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
• Lead model and drawing review meetings both internally and externally with clients.

Skills

Experience in an industrial and/or mining environment

Proficient in Autodesk software (AutoCAD, REVIT, Plant 3D)

Ability to communicate effectively

Excellent organizational skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Education

Associates degree or certificate from an accredited drafting program

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Industrial Engineering design packages

REVIT education or experience
