Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Production Miner to join our team and develop into an Equipment Operator role as needed. The candidate will support safe production, uphold Turner values, and contribute to site safety and efficiency.

The role requires willingness to work on varied shifts, strong communication, and a proactive approach to training, with a focus on hazard control and regulatory compliance within mining operations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Probationary period of six months from the date of hire.
• 0-2 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Appropriate attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Exemplary attendance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hazard identification and control with crews.
• Engage leadership to define processes for common goals.
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and compliance.
• Demonstrate safety ownership and lead by example.
• Assist with proficiency audits and training documentation.
• Participate in risk assessment processes at various levels.
