Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Probationary period of six months from date of hire.
• 0-2 years’ experience in mining/heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and control measures with the crew.
• Engage leadership to define processes for common goals.
• Assist with MSHA training and compliance verification.
• Lead by example and uphold Turner Values.
• Assist with training proficiency audits.
• Participate in risk assessment processes at multiple levels.
• Be accountable for equipment, time and conditions.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Communicate in English and support near-miss reporting.
• Support site and project leaders with improvements.
