Job summary

MasTec is seeking an experienced Project Manager for mining-focused EPC-type work up to $100M. You will lead multi-craft teams, oversee safety, quality, and project controls, and coordinate with clients, engineering, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful execution.

The role requires extensive field experience, MSHA compliance, and the ability to travel and relocate as project needs demand. Strong leadership and communication are essential for delivering safe, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction management.
• Ten (10) years of field experience.
• Experience in MSHA-regulated mining and aggregate operations.
• Maintained compliance with MSHA safety standards and participated in accident prevention programs.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret engineering plans and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage site leadership teams (Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Quality Manager, Safety Manager).
• Represent PHX in client interactions and manage communications with engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans and review safety analyses and JSA compliance.
• Control project costs, change orders, and master schedule through project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and review material takeoffs, procurement, and field operations to meet schedule and budget.
