Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a senior strategic advisor to partner with executive leadership on MILCON and infrastructure capital programs in Huntsville.

You will help shape long-range planning, assess risks, and craft executive-ready briefings and decision papers. In this role you will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with DoD agencies, and establish enterprise-wide methods for risk analysis, scheduling, and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE SECRET clearance required.
• 10+ years of large-scale capital program oversight experience.
• Experience advising senior executives or command leadership.
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication for executive briefings and strategy papers.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on MILCON and infrastructure programs.
• Support enterprise-level capital investment strategies balancing priorities and constraints.
• Oversee strategic assessment of capital projects with executive-ready outputs.
• Evaluate risks and guide mitigations to keep portfolio aligned.
• Direct master schedules and delivery plans across multiple disciplines.
• Provide governance for PM plans, milestones, and major decisions.
• Lead stakeholder engagements with DoW agencies, installations and partners.
• Establish enterprise methods for risk, schedule integrity, and planning.
• Mentor cross-functional teams to improve governance and delivery.
