Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a senior leader to head the AGS NAMER Migration/Modernization advisory team. You will own team strategy, talent, operating model, and engagement quality across NAMER, while leading complex migration/modernization engagements for priority accounts and deals.

Bring 15+ years of migration/modernization experience, deep CxO/IT leader engagement, and a proven ability to scale teams and standardize methods that drive multi‑billion-dollar outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent.
• 10+ years of migration/modernization sales, advisory, and/or delivery at cloud technology, consulting, or within a large enterprise customer organization.
• Experience leading teams that sell and deliver migration/modernization engagements to enterprise customers.
• Demonstrated track record of building or scaling functions/teams — operating plans, competencies, engagement standards.
• Experience leading CxO and IT leaders’ engagements on migration/modernization with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience developing and closing complex, competitive deals, including commercial structuring and incentives.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with senior executives, technical leaders, and cross-functional teams across AWS internal, customer, and partner orgs at multiple management levels.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills with comfort translating ambiguous information into structured experiments and scaling proven methods and tools.
• Track record of being right a lot, inventing and simplifying, and delivering results.
• Demonstrates strong business acumen, high judgment, ownership, and customer obsession.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of migration/modernization advisors. Build a world-class team with migration/modernization competency — hiring, development, performance management, career growth, succession planning
• Own team strategy, operating model, engagement quality, and migration/modernization goals/KPIs performance for the assigned NAMER business units
• Lead CxO and IT leaders’ engagement for must-win priority accounts and migration/modernization deals
• Lead ‘migration/modernization as-a-business’ with the #oneteam of stakeholders, including Sales, BD, Specialists, Solutions Architects, Customer Solution Managers, Professional Services, and partners. Author and lead business reviews (MBRs) with the leadership teams of the assigned NAMER Divisions
• Author/ contribute to migration/modernization methods and tools, external and internal thought leadership, learning and development content for the migration/modernization advisors, and enablement and activation content for sales
• Earn trust and influence stakeholders outside NAMER, including WW Specialists, Service Teams, Partners on priorities and resources needed to grow the Migration/Modernization business
• Contribute to AGS NAMER BD/GTM strategy and execution as a senior member of the NAMER GTM/BD leadership team
