Job summary

Oil Authority seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer to support a growing oil and gas midstream operation, including processing facilities, saltwater disposal, and pipelines. You will provide daily engineering support, troubleshoot in the field, lead risk assessments, and oversee small projects while aiding larger development efforts.

You will guide EPC contractor interactions, ensure safety and reliability of systems, and contribute to project execution with a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in oil and gas or related industry.
• BS in engineering; Mechanical or Chemical preferred.
• Ability to lead and champion cohesive teamwork.
• Strong project management: scope, schedule, cost tracking.
• Knowledge of design standards and operational assurance.
• Travel approx. 25% of the time.
• Experience with rotating equipment and pipelines is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality engineering work across the Permian Midstream organization.
• Promote safe, efficient operations via rigorous engineering and risk assessment.
• Support Process Safety Management through MOC, design reviews and risk assessments.
• Provide daily field support, about 25% of time in the field.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify failures and drive improvements.
• Lead risk assessments for design changes and project execution.
• Manage project processes, tracking, contractor coordination, and assurance.
• Provide positive leadership and collaborate with teams.
• Share knowledge to achieve personal, team, and company goals.
