Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Data Protection and Privacy consultant to guide governance and security program design across enterprise environments. You will lead Purview workstreams, translate complex regulatory requirements into practical architectures, and mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality client outcomes.

You will collaborate with security, privacy, legal, and business teams to shape strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans, within a globally connected EY ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Senior-level consulting professional with ability to lead defined workstreams.
• Experience translating business, legal, privacy, regulatory, and security requirements into architecture and governance.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and support proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Purview workstreams from discovery to deployment.
• Design and support Purview capabilities such as DLP, data map, data catalog.
• Develop data governance strategies aligned to legal, privacy, regulatory, and security requirements.
• Support security and privacy assessments, architecture reviews, maturity assessments, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews across security, privacy, legal, and business teams.
• Translate requirements into solution architectures, backlog items, and test scenarios.
• Create architecture diagrams, reference patterns, and implementation guidance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute reusable assets and delivery methods.
• Maintain awareness of Microsoft product developments and AI governance risks.
