Job summary

HireDirectNow.com is seeking a senior Microsoft cloud platform owner to lead the Microsoft cloud ecosystem for a large healthcare/med-tech company. You will own strategy, architecture, automation, governance, and MSP oversight.

Role requires onsite work in Orange County, CA, five days per week, with planned OC office relocation by 2028. You will drive reliability, security, and platform engineering across M365, Entra ID, and Azure while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years enterprise Microsoft infrastructure experience.
• 7+ years Microsoft 365 and Azure engineering.
• Experience supporting 5,000+ users.
• Hands-on with Entra ID, Exchange Online, Azure governance & DR.
• Experience partnering with MSPs and driving platform roadmaps.
• Platform engineering/COE or service-ownership background.
• Onsite in Orange County 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own Microsoft cloud platform strategy, architecture, engineering standards, and lifecycle.
• Be the technical authority for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Defender, Purview.
• Lead automation, governance guardrails, and platform roadmaps.
• Own MSP delivery health, reliability, and vendor oversight.
• Mentor engineers and conduct architecture reviews.
