Job summary

Envista is seeking a Principal Microsoft Cloud Platform Engineer to own the Microsoft cloud platform strategy, architecture, and lifecycle. You will lead engineering for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and related services, driving automation, governance, and scalable operations.

The role partners with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and MSP teams to deliver secure, reliable cloud outcomes. The Senior individual contributor will mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and ensure roadmaps

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years enterprise Microsoft infrastructure experience.
7+ years Microsoft 365 and Azure engineering.
Experience with Entra ID, Defender, Purview and related services.
Experience partnering with MSPs and establishing platform governance.

Responsibilities

Own platform strategy, architecture, engineering, and lifecycle for Microsoft cloud.
Lead engineering for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and related services.
Define standards, governance, and platform roadmaps.
Drive automation and IaC adoption to improve reliability and efficiency.
Mentor engineers and provide architectural oversight for MSP-delivered services.
