Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the Microelectronics Factory team in an onsite role in the United States. You will translate engineering designs into formal manufacturing processes, program for automation, and lead investigations to prevent recurrence while developing and maintaining production processes.

The role requires a STEM degree, 3+ years CAD experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM is required.
• 3 years CAD experience for tooling, fixtures and 3D fixturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required (US citizenship).
• Active DoD Clearance (Secret) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering design into manufacturing process documentation.
• Program for manufacturing automation.
• Dispositon of discrepant hardware and root cause investigations.
• Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes.
