Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Massachusetts. The candidate will join the Test Solutions (TS) team to design and deploy test equipment and interfaces for a range of Raytheon products, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers.

You will design production test stations, contribute to schematics and circuit design, troubleshoot issues, and mentor 3–5 team members.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of experience OR an Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
Experience in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, analysis, and testing.
Experience with electrical design, analysis, and interpreting schematics with tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
Experience with COTS test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power meters)

Responsibilities

Design, development, and integration of Raytheon test equipment capabilities in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Design production test stations, ITAs (Interface test Adapters), and harnesses.
Design capture activities via the creation of technical drawings, schematics, and circuit design and analysis.
Act, either as part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues in development and integration of test products.
Mentor cross‑functional teams of 3-5 members, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on‑time and within‑scope completion.
