Job summary

RTX's Raytheon Vision Systems in Goleta, CA is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to oversee Focal Plane Module assembly and related electromechanical work in a cleanroom environment. You will lead manufacturing engineering efforts on moderate to high complexity programs, translating designs into build plans and schedules.

The role requires a STEM degree, ERP/MES experience, and strong problem solving. Onsite: Goleta, CA. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean or continuous improvement methods.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

Oversee assembly of Focal Plane Modules, optical components, and electromechanical assemblies.
Interpret drawings and specifications, create build plans and BOMs.
Develop and implement manufacturing plans and instructions.
Lead projects and participate in corrective action reviews.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive process improvements.
