Job summary

KV seeks a senior inspector to lead first article and in-process inspections of precision-machined components for medical devices, aerospace, and defense applications. You will apply advanced metrology and GD&T, document results per ISO 13485/AS9100 standards, and drive continuous improvement.

You will mentor technicians, support NCRs and CAPA actions, and collaborate with production leadership to prevent defects at the source. A background in regulated environments is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in precision inspection, QC or metrology.
• Strong ability to read complex blueprints and apply GD&T.
• Experience with regulated environments (ISO 13485, AS9100, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Own first article, in-process, receiving and final inspections.
• Apply GD&T on complex prints per ASME Y14.5.
• Document results following GMP/QMS requirements.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to contain defects.
• Mentor junior technicians and support audits.
