Job summary

Insight Global in Oregon is seeking a Metrology Engineer to support the development and execution of advanced metrology capabilities. You will apply contact and non-contact metrology, develop inspection strategies, and perform statistical and dimensional analysis of customer parts.

As a technical expert, you will mentor engineering teams, collaborate to resolve measurement deviations, and translate measurement data into actionable insights that improve product quality and system performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of dimensional metrology / precision measurement experience
Strong knowledge of GD&T
Experience developing metrology/inspection strategies
Experience with at least one major metrology platform (PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, etc.)
Experience reading CAD models/drawings to develop inspections
Strong troubleshooting around measurement variation/deviations
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Eng or equivalent
Customer facing experience

Responsibilities

Develop and execute advanced metrology capabilities
Serve as technical expert and mentor to engineering teams to resolve measurement deviations
Convert measurement data into actionable insights to improve product quality and system performance
Collaborate with CAD models/drawings to develop inspections
Support CAD-based inspection development and troubleshooting
