Job summary

Insight Global in Oregon is seeking a Metrology Engineer to support the development and execution of advanced metrology capabilities. You will apply contact and non-contact metrology, develop inspection strategies, and perform statistical and dimensional analysis of customer parts.

As a technical expert, you will mentor engineering teams, collaborate to resolve measurement deviations, and translate measurement data into actionable insights that improve product quality and system performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dimensional metrology / precision measurement experience
• Strong knowledge of GD&T
• Experience developing metrology/inspection strategies
• Experience with at least one major metrology platform (PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, etc.)
• Experience reading CAD models/drawings to develop inspections
• Strong troubleshooting around measurement variation/deviations
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Eng or equivalent
• Customer facing experience
