Seagate Technology seeks an analytical MES engineer at its Normandale campus in Bloomington, MN. You will support factory-critical MES, dispatch, and scheduling systems, analyze data, and implement improvements to boost throughput and reduce cycle time.

You will design and sustain workflow logic, develop data integrations, and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and IT teams to deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Formación

• Using SQL to investigate data, troubleshoot system behavior, validate changes, and support reporting or analysis.
• Working with relational databases and structured manufacturing or operational data.
• Developing, configuring, or supporting workflow-based, rules-based, low-code, or visual programming solutions.
• Analyzing complex process flows, constraints, priorities, exceptions, and system interactions.
• Testing technical changes, documenting results, and supporting controlled deployment into production environments.
• Collaborating with technical and operational partners to resolve issues and improve system performance.

Responsabilidades

• Support factory-critical MES, dispatching, scheduling, and manufacturing optimization capabilities through day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Design, test, deploy, and sustain dispatch and scheduling logic that supports work prioritization, tool utilization, factory throughput, and cycle-time improvement.
• Analyze manufacturing and system data to identify root causes, validate system behavior, measure results, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain data integrations, automation workflows, and decision logic that connect manufacturing systems and optimization platforms.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Equipment Engineering, vendors, and global IT teams to define requirements and implement practical solutions.
• Support new tool introductions, manufacturing flow changes, application upgrades, infrastructure changes, and controlled production deployments.
• Create clear technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, test evidence, and training materials to improve support coverage and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in incident response activities and follow issues through investigation, corrective action, validation, and communication with affected teams.
• Balance operational support with strategic projects while managing multiple priorities, dependencies, and customer needs.
