Seagate Technology’s MES group is seeking a Sr. MES Analyst to support wafer manufacturing operations at the Normandale campus. You will design, deploy, and sustain dispatch/scheduling logic, analyze data to drive improvements, and partner with IT and engineering teams to implement practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with relational databases and manufacturing data.
• Experience with workflow-based, low-code, or visual programming solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex process flows and system interactions.
• Testing technical changes and supporting controlled production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day MES support and troubleshooting for factory-critical systems.
• Design, test, deploy, and sustain dispatch and scheduling logic to improve throughput and cycle-time.
• Analyze data to identify root causes, validate system behavior, and measure improvements.
• Develop data integrations and automation workflows linking manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process/Industrial Engineering and IT teams to define requirements.
• Support new tool introductions, upgrades, and controlled deployments.
• Create documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materials for knowledge transfer.
• Participate in incident response and ensure corrective actions are followed.
• Balance operational support with strategic projects across multiple priorities.
